QMP ECG course for Resident doctors in Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine and Emergency/Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
This is an online comprehensive course on ECG taught in an easy to understand and interactive small group format teaching.
The following areas are covered:
Revision of the basic conduction of the heart
Overview of the P, QRS, T wave-what they represent and what is normal
Rhythm interpretation
Cardiac axis
Tachycardia & Bradycardia
12 lead ECG
ECG interpretation to coronary arteries
Case based scenarios
It is a day’s course (9am-5pm) and certificate of attendance is issued for which 6 CPD points can be claimed.

QMP radiology course for Resident doctors in Emergency Medicine, acute medicine and Emergency/Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
This is an online course comprising of a series of interactive lectures using different imaging modalities (x-rays, FAST scan, CT scan and MRI scan) to discuss case presentations covering the following:
Upper limb injuries
Pelvic and hip injuries
Lower limb injuries
Chest pathology
Abdominal(surgical) pathology
Brain
Spine (cervical, thoracic and lumber)
The indications, contraindications, pitfalls as well as relevant guidelines for the use of these imaging modalities such as NICE guidance for head injuries and Ottawa ankle rules will be discussed.
It is a day’s course (9am-5pm) and certificate of attendance is issued for which 6 CPD points can be claimed.
